Thanks for the help. I have tried all of your ideas, it wasn’t working at all with the title and I had to just turn the.bpt out just to save the game. I had it set to simple display options, with full screen not up. Even with the correct gamepaks it wasn’t working. Then I tried to run the game with the arcade mode and it loads the title screen, but when I load the game and try to play it, it freezes. And the instant replay icon on the title screen turns to a stop sign. I even went back to the console and turned the game off and then back on, and the title screen still freezes.
i’ll need to know what os you are using. there seems to be some issues with certain oses, what vesion of windows are you using? what antivirus program do you have running? what file system are you using? are you using taito type x or taito type x2? is there anything else i can help you with?
thanks for all the help. i know i do not need to use this loader if i am not going to be playing these games, but i wanted to explore my options. if i could get these games to work i would have no choice.
i tried running the loader again and loaded the game. i still got the same message so i am sorry but i don’t think it’s working, but i will try loading the other games that i have in the same tal-xl 1.4 loader format so you can see if they work.
i double-checked and the cable that came with it fits in the same number of holes in my board as my old loader that works, so i know it will fit. i also tried using this cable: http://www.kjm.io/passt-cable-usb-to-ethernet-car-router-converter-and-power-cable.html
oh and i’ve tried to recompile hyperspin to fix the axis control issue but that actually caused an internal error on the pcloaders network server and it says it is down until i fix that, so some time off work today!
so it got me thinking about taito type x and i remembered that there was something in the load configs that i could change that i could switch to while trying a different setting on the games. i tried to find it in the taito loader configs but there are so many in there that i couldn’t find it. the only settings i found that i could change in the load configs though was:
