The LE456 VST plugin was developed to be a preamp sim roughly based on a famous German gear. It has 2 channels and 2 modes per channel.
Each channels/modes share the same features. Apart from the usual tone controls (drive, low, mid, high and contour), each channels/modes offer two different tone stacks that can be accessed via the focus switches.
Bottom and bright switches can be used to boost the low and the high frequencies respectively. On the low gain channel only (Clean/Crunch), the effectiveness of the bright switch decreases with the gain settings.

– A slight change on the amount of distortion lets to create different tones to another great extent
– The delay switches maybe can be used to get a better sound in the dullest cases
– An interesting very bright mode could be added to the post stage.
LE456 can be made to work with all embedded audio devices (VST).
For linux OS, the plugin can be used as native VST plugin.

Couldn’t find a preset but here are some settings to play around with:

“Poly” is flat-ish.
“Bright” sounds actually like a bright chip.
“Crunch” sounds like a raspy high-end American Blues slide.
“Angle” is an EQ with a very high-mid cut, very high highs cut and very low lows cut. The very low and high frequencies are both down around 5khz.
“Range” is a “extreme” EQ – bottom around 5khz, top about 100-140hz.
“Gain” is a boost around 100-400hz.
