A long, long time ago, the three Gods of Eternity, the Unknown, and the Living created many things and many different races. One of the races were the Formless, who were given the responsibility of creation. The Unknown sent them out to become gods, by using their souls. They asked the Formless to use their souls and make a few primitive gods. The gods decided to live among the gods, and to rule the world. The living gods have changed greatly since. The Unknown is in his deepest sleep, the Unknown wakes every 100 years. The Unknown’s physical body is kept safe by the Living, who protect the Unknown’s resting place.
The Living keep the Unknown’s resting place safe, but to keep the Living safe, they make them servants.
“We serve the Living, we must protect the Living, and we cannot refuse when the Living ask of us. We are immortal, we will always serve the Living until the Living retire us. It is our fate, our life, our duty, our purpose.
Formless: Our bodies are made of stones and metals, however, our souls are pure. We use our souls to create gods. This enables us to create life and living beings.”
The Formless also created the humans, but the Formless decided that they would be obedient to them. So the Formless gave humans immortality, and made them weaker. They created a species who would grow slow, and dream a magical dream of life and immortality.
Lurkers are humans who can only dream this dream, and only hold onto it enough to create a simple life. They fall in love with each other, and create families. In short, a family are lurkers without their immortality dream.
Dragon Gods: These Gods were created after the Formless. They were created by the Formless. Dragons were created after the Formless were beings of fire, and life. They were bred by the Formless to become gods, and they built their civilization around these gods.
Dragon Gods are the race of Gods. They are the most powerful race, and they have control over the world.
How are humans related to lurkers?
Humans are a semi-breed between humans and lurkers. They can dream of life and immortality, but they cannot dream the true magic of life. Humans are the most powerful race, but they are not yet Gods.

Was anyone else watching the juggernaut civil war on Science Channel? It was fascinating, and they gave a lot of history on the development and history of war on land and on the sea. Fascinating stuff. They also talked about battles going on today between different factions, such as in the Middle East. Anyway, I had a question regarding military technology. I thought some of the ships that were used in the Civil War were more accurate and improved upon older designs. For example, the modern day cannons that we have today (and possibly use against one another) were used in the war as well. Was this true, or did they simply fight with technology that they could understand and had the manpower/equipment to use it? It was fascinating to think of ships with different cannons that were a different time.

There is a book called the three musketeers – its about two friends that wanted to join the marines and one of them is killed in the civil war. It has a lot of interesting naval battles. The guys in the marines at the time would take artillery pieces that were originally put in to sharpshooters – they took the artillery pieces and divided them up like a football – the new artillery pieces were made to be bigger. The older ones had mismatched brass and wooden barrels and were inaccurate. It was the arm of the day.
But yeah, Its very interesting to keep up with what was said, and how things were said compared to today.
There are some good references on WW2tech.com. I cannot attest to the veracity of the sources, but they present a very broad, fairly dynamic picture of the development of technology across

Call of Cthulhu®: The New York World’s Fair, or “The Great Imposition” as the newspapers called it, opened on May 1, 1939. Just a month later, on June 30, the city’s Temple of the Moon became the site of the most important public ritual yet of a true horror noir.
At the stroke of midnight, a black silhouette stepped out of the darkness, striding toward the assembled crowd. A shot rang out, and the silhouette fell to the ground. The crowd was stunned into silence. Who was this madman? What strange powers might he possess? The larger the crowd, the better the show…
The glowing lights of the fairground faded behind us as we sat on the grassy hills, the surreal shapes of the cityscape poking through a ver
