Cons: The fan is *****, its so loud you can hear it, while it runs at an idle of about 40%, it needs to run at about 50-60% to not be audible.You can hear it all the time, you can’t even do anything in the game without the fans noise too loud, this was a very disappointing factor for me.They all came very ******* ugly if you like to play games, you’d go for windows 7, Beside you can get it cheaper on windows 7 and you know it’ll work, it does.
Cons: Locking issue, card has to be free first, second is you have to not use the card in WoW, but I can’t help that much, I’m using it like a year, this card is awesome in movies, and anything else, the only issue left is the locked ati HD 5750 first it was locking you in warhammer, and counter strike 1.5, and a few other games where ATI/AMD decided to make their own drivers…also not made for the HD 5750, cause it used the same video memory as the HD 5790, but what do you expect from ATI/AMD? The laptop has to be free first, of course, second, it has to be free, third, I shouldnt have to be paying for it, and fourth, the card dosent work, the video memory is the same as the HD 5770…what is this, why can’t you just make a HD 5790 and HD 5750, and make them interchangable??, I shouldnt have to pay for a product and its not even working, this is just unfeasible and unacceptable, what the h@ll do I do now? this xfx card is awesome, I have had no problems with it, than this, I bought this card $140, and this is my first hd 5750, I’ve bought two and a HD 5790, both work. I want my money back, and I want a refund. Ive been a customer of XFX for years. And no I’m not a HD 5790, I’m not blaming the card, its ATI/AMDs fault…go live up in your corner ATI/AMD, I’m dis…wait I have to put it back in, its an older card, but it’ll work.
