In 1980 the arcade game Tempest™ was a huge hit. You played the role of a spaceship pilot and had to defeat endless aliens by shooting at them and destroying their bases. Now Jeff Minter, the creator of the original game, brings you Tempest 4000.
In Tempest 4000 you take control of a spaceship called the Claw and have to destroy deadly creatures and other obstructions in order to survive. You have to do this by destroying them using the powerful Arc shots.
For every level you’ll see a planetary surface, a huge distance of space and further you’ll see the enemies. You need to destroy all of them to complete the level.
The visuals of Tempest 4000 are fantastic, every level is highly detailed with realistic graphics. You will have a journey through beautiful and sci-fi looking levels with great graphics, remarkable sounds and highly addictive gameplay. The enemies and obstacles will try to destroy you by shaking their prisms and make you fly into the background.
You can play Tempest 4000 in two different game modes, Arcade and Classic.
The Arcade Mode features 60 levels, the Classic Mode features 100 levels.
In the Arcade Mode you’ll earn points by destroying the obstacles and enemies and get the highest score on the leaderboards, while in Classic Mode you have to destroy the enemies as fast as possible.
Tempest 4000 is available on Xbox One.
