“Invalid argument” from my code but same code works on others computers

I have code from a study guide where we are supposed to take the first, second, and third lines of a text file and pass them into another function that calculates the average. My code works perfectly on the computers I have used to do this, but on one computer I am using for an assignment, my code will not run. It errors out with “Invalid argument” and I can’t figure out why. The same code runs perfectly on all the other computers I have used. This is the only computer I’ve ever had this happen on.
