His wife said she felt like she wanted to throw up as well but didn’t because she saw “a whole pizza on the floor.”

She said she went into their room where he was sleeping and they both saw a pizza box open on the floor and empty.

They found Robet and had him take a shower. They then drove him to the hospital in Ben Lomond, California.

On May 6, the couple said they were still trying to find out what went wrong and why the pizza was poisoned.

“The hospital told us that he ate half of it and he thought that it was probably not poisoning, but he ate the whole pizza,” Robert Howard said. “So now I believe he ate the whole pizza and he threw it up, and that’s what he thought that it was.”
