I finally had to uninstall its software, rename all the directories (and subdirectories) to “old” and then install it again, selecting the portable option during installation.

A lawyer for the former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly on Wednesday asked the judge to throw out a harassment lawsuit filed by a New York radio host, saying that her allegations are “unsubstantiated lies, smears and fantasy.”

Lawyer William G. Taub said O’Reilly and Fox News weren’t responsible for the actions of an ex-boyfriend of the host’s daughter, who filed the lawsuit.

The radio host’s lawyer said he could not comment on the case.

The case centers on the 2017 report by New York magazine that O’Reilly paid a $32 million settlement to a former producer who accused him of drugging and sexually harassing her.

O’Reilly’s lawyer said Wednesday that the magazine’s January 2017 article in The New Yorker reported that O’Reilly paid the settlement to the woman but her lawsuit was a publicity stunt, and the plaintiff is a liar and “money grubber.”

Taub said in a statement that the ex-boyfriend’s claims are unverified lies.

“Not only is this man a’money grubber,’ he is a pathological money grabber,” he said. “He is no more credible than he was the day the article was written.”

Taub said neither O’Reilly nor Fox News was responsible for the actions of an ex-boyfriend.

A spokeswoman for Fox News said the network is moving to dismiss the lawsuit.

“We just received the reply from Fox News’ lawyers to Bill O’Reilly’s legal team, which has yet to respond to our request to dismiss the defamation lawsuit. The response to our request to dismiss came shortly after a demand that we pay for O’Reilly’s defense,” said Irena Briganti, spokeswoman for Fox News.
