Eating Out on the Move

Sometimes it’s nice to eat at a restaurant while sitting on your dining table. I’m not sure when we got stuck into eating dinners on the table, but it became a habit. This is great if you have a child, and they can sit on the chair, or a dog, and play with their toys. However, I didn’t plan on them being able to sit on the chair.

We recently found out that our kitchen is going through some renovations. It’s a huge shame, because we really love eating in our kitchen. However, the renovations are now going to involve cutting the wall down between the kitchen and our dining room. This means that we have to eat our meals on the dining room table, and they have to sit on the chair.

So far, so good. We have still managed to get dinner on the table at a decent time, and we’ve all had a chance to talk. I’m not saying that we don’t talk about our day at work, we’re just talking about something else. We’re a happy family, and we all have a lot to be thankful for. So, as our kitchen renovations get completed, we’re going to have to get used to eating on the table.
