If you plan on making just the editing of photographs your career, it is important that you learn PhotoShop, because it is the most used photo editor. However, if you are going to use Photoshop for the creative use of images, then you need to learn many different aspects of the program.

Most tutorials will not teach the finer points of image editing. However, plenty of tutorials are available that teach one aspect or another, so it will be up to you as an individual to learn from the tutorials.

Once you have mastered the basic skills, you will want to explore the power of Photoshop, including Photoshop’s numerous plug-ins, which are programs that make up the “plug-in architecture,” which is the combination of program and plug-ins that enable you to alter the effects on an image.

The plug-ins that are most commonly used are the ones that most provide an intuitive way to perform specific tasks. These include the ability to combine images, enhance shadows, and add special effects.

When Photoshop programs are released, the plug-ins are bundled in and made available on Adobe’s web site. But there are always plug-ins that are not part of the main Photoshop program. Many of these are free, and the most common plug-ins are listed on Table 14-1.

In the case of ‘X’, this simply takes the last value of each item. If you want to use a real word for the ‘X’ label, just change it accordingly in the above code.
This will cause problems if you have multiple ‘X’ labels in a row. If that’s a problem, you could check the lengths of each part of the list before joining. Something like:
a = [x[i] for x in a for i in range(len(x))] # a = [1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1]

Or, if you want to know which items need to be joined:
