Moonlighter is a roguelike action RPG with 2D pixel art and retro aesthetics.

In Moonlighter, players start from a low rank in a bar and slowly make their way up from the bottom. As players progress through the levels, they will encounter a full lineup of zombies, ghostly skeletons, witches, ghouls, and other monsters. And there’s a story behind them, which you’ll have to uncover as you travel across the world.
Along the way, players will have to deal with customers, choose from a full roster of unique skills, take items from shops and sell them to earn money, and try not to get killed by monsters.
Moonlighter’s human-like heroine is named Will, and she will be the main hero you’ll be following throughout the game. Will may be just an ordinary barkeep, but she is full of spirit and is a fighter who will protect and help her customers. Whether you choose to help or hinder, all the way up to the end, you’ll need to help Will out with all the troubles that will inevitably arise.
Moonlighter takes place in a steampunk world with large gangster corporations colliding with supernatural agents, where a new kind of war is brewing in the skies above. And it’s up to you to figure out what’s really going on.

• Also known as Curiosity: The Shadow People Collector’s Edition, this really neat concept from the creator of Everybody’s Gone To The Rapture has a cheeky theme tune. A whole bunch of songs compose a fairly straightforward game but it’s breezy and carries a ton of charm.
• 7.5 Indie. The music evokes the nostalgic feelings of a classic LucasArts adventure game of the mid-ninteties. It has a fair amount of variety, and seeing as how the tracks don’t repeat, it provides a lot of replayability.

Moonlighter is an RPG with roguelike elements and a narrative that takes place in a spooky and gorgeous witch-filled village. It allows you to customize your personal adventuring style and can be played as a single player or with up to three friends through local multiplayer.
Story
Through life and death you have been brought to this village, a remote location left to the monsters and horrors that lurk deep in the woods. Two years ago, you signed up with a group of other adventurers and were sent out to explore the surrounding area. One of you, however, has not returned. The leader of your expedition, William, still believes that you are somehow responsible for the disappearance of his wife, Heather.
Locked Inside
No matter how many times you die, you will never leave the village. As long as the blue light you are under the control of the Illuminatrix casts its spell on the dungeon, you will never die. William, however, will not rest until you either give in to your fear or are dead.
Family – The Spooks
Little do the villagers know that the village is haunted by three witch-like spooks. Two of these spooks are young (one in her teens, one in her twenties). They were the daughters of the village’s previous leader who was brutally murdered by the village’s current leader. No one knows the fate of their father, though it is likely he is dead as well. The younger spooks are rather sadistic while the elder is more severe and prefers to torture you with realistic pain and suffering instead of letting you live. The elder spook has but one wish, to have her own offspring, despite being completely alone. She is sure that a bride who has lost her betrothed is the best one to have a child with.
The Moonlighter Original Soundtrack Product Key contains 23 original tracks composed by David Fenn. Track 26 is composed by Pablo Caballero.

David is a composer and sound designer based in the UK. He is a Remi X Games award winner and has worked on titles such as Titan Souls and Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete.
