Gumroad € Hair Tool Blender 2.0.5

Have you seen the tools in this post: Gumroad Hair Tool ?
The.blend files there don’t work at all with the latest version of Blender, and I don’t know if there’s any work-around. Do you think you could please add some support for blender 2.66 in Gumroad’s tool.

Just read “Hello everyone, I’m moving to Gumroad, and am looking for a way to make procedural hair for a character. Found Gumroad Hair Tool and downloaded it. I’m running blender 2.65 and I got a black screen. That’s it. No error, no nothing. :/

I downloaded the version 2.0.5 and I run Blender 2.66, no problem
I also tried to make one hair in a UV image before, but no result. You may not see what I’m doing, because I moved the hair to a different layer. I’m trying to put a special effect and I don’t want it on the physical Hair. But there is a problem – the shader doesn’t work as I want, because I only have the diffuse object. The rest are inactive…

It’s not really about mesh warping, just in fact is about bmesh, and how bmesh can add features such as warping, and other useful features. But I don’t want to say more because I’m not really an expert. Also, it’s about rigging and animation, and how it’s useful to have such a tool. Bmesh is a part of Blender v2.64, so if you don’t use the most recent version, it won’t work as expected..

It’s incredible in depth, well thought out, and informative, and very concise, especially when it comes to 2D animation. The best thing is you can study in your own time, watch it in spare time, and explore the 3D bits in Blender.
