The CCDirector class defines a property called runningScene. It returns an instance of CCActionInterval. That class stores the last scene, which might change when you start a new scene. So it is not a static property, just the property. This is why you get different values every time

Fluid Based Life Support

Fluid Based Life Support, also known as FBLS is a variation of artificial ventilation pioneered by the Canadian neurosurgeon Dr. Paul F. MacNeill in the early 1970s.

FBLS is an artificial ventilation system, where, instead of only supplying oxygen, the FBLS ventilator, also supplies liquid nutrients. FBLS provides significantly better nutritional support as compared to conventional artificial ventilation, as well as allowing patients to breathe during starvation periods, as long as they are able to accomplish this themselves on their own. The inspiration of the FBLS artificial ventilation and the FBLS liquid nutritional formula is to emulate the essential elements of ventilation and nutrition delivered by the lungs and the stomach and intestines respectively, in the form of a liquid solution. FBLS can be delivered via gravity via a drip bottle or fluid-feed system, or by syringe pump.

MacNeill originally came up with the idea of a fluid based life support (FBLS) at an advanced age and while working as a Professor of Neurosurgery at the University of Alberta.

FBLS operates on the principle that the ventilator and nutrition are delivered in a form that is similar to their natural counterparts – delivery via the gut and lungs in a liquid form.
