As the player you are the defender of the Reich. The USA are the attackers of the Reich.

The America Air Force consists of several different aircraft carriers with different types of aircraft. Each carrier has a specific weight and a size that can be reduced by landing aircraft and refueling. The bigger the aircraft the more energy is required for a landing and landing.

Each aircraft carrier is holding different type of aircraft. There are:

Attack aircraft

Strategic bombers

Offensive bombers

Landing Striking

Aircraft carriers have a specific size and weight that make landing aircraft difficult. Aiming and landing aircraft requires resources that are limited per turn. Energy is needed for focusing and to reach the target with a certain precision. If an aircraft is damaged, if the engine fails or if the pilot is injured, the aircraft will be lost. Landing aircraft on land requires more energy that the same landing on a carrier. Landing an aircraft on a carrier with strategic bombers, requires more energy than the same landing with fighter planes.

Attacking the Reich

The USA Air Force contains three carrier task forces. Each one of the task forces contains a specific mix of aircraft carriers and specific bombers. Each task force consists of several aircraft carriers. Each task force has a specific weight and size that can be reduced by landing aircraft and refueling. On each individual carrier of a task force, you will find several bombers of the type that the task force belongs to.

Also, the USA is equipped with strategic bombers (B-17, B-24) and bombers (B-26).

Interception

In the game you are able to intercept the transports of the USA. Every aircraft carrier will transport strategic bombers and a specific bomber type on a tactical mission. Intercepting bombers on a tactical mission requires less energy than intercepting strategic bombers. If a bomber is captured, the game is over. After each mission you will receive a report by the German Airforce. Each report will inform you about the victory of the USA and the losses of the German Air Force.
