Digital was designed to be a PC VSTi phase shaping synthesis. Digital uses phase distortion, waveshaping and frequency modulation to recreate the sound of classic 80’s synthesizers
Here are some key features of “Digital ConcreteFX “:
· Digital uses 4 operators which can be arranged in 15 different ways, these arrangements include all four- op FM arrangements and ring modulation algorithms
· Each operator is composed of a phase distorter , a wave shaper and a multi-mode filter. Depending on the chosen algorithm operators can also be frequency modulated by input from other operators and also has self-feedback.
· Phase distort – each operator uses phase distortion to change waveshapes, allowing you to recreate the sound of Casio CZ synths
· Waveshaping – 19 waves including all the FM and CZ type waves , also you can use multi-mode waves which use two waves appended together
· Filters – each operator has a 12/24 low/high/band pass/band reject + ring mod or comb filters.
· Modulators – Digital has eight envelopes, step sequences, XY pad LFO’s and 4 key splits. Envelope can have up-to 32 stage, each stage having variable slopes. Each envelope has user-definable loop & release points for complex patterns.
· Modulation matrix – a powerful modulation matrix allows you to modulate all the controls using envelopes , LFO’s , step sequences, keysplits, any midi controls ,velocity, note played and in/out volume.
· Effects – Cross delay / reverb , chorus/flanger/phaser , 3 band equalizer and distortion effects
Requirements:
· VST Host such as Cubase, 500MHz PC with 64 Mbytes of memory. Vocal has been test using Cubase VST / SX , Traction, Fruityloop, Orion, Chainer , & should work with other VST hosts, and as a DirectX plugin using the FXpansion Vst-Dx V3/4 or Directxer adapaters

Macro:
Macro mode allows the user to record and play back a series of keyboard commands. A macro can be any series of keyboard commands. Macro can be triggered by MIDI notes or by another MIDI note, the host generates a note to play through an operator, in which the keyboard commands are in the event of the macro command. Keyboard commands can be any keys to be pressed or any combination of keys pressed at different times. Keyboard commands are typically repeated at a set interval but can repeat at any arbitrary interval within a given range. User can design a macro which is sequenced by the keyboard commands and may have more than one part.
User can assign a key to start a Macro. When the macro is played, it is played in the context of the sequence it was previously assigned to. When a key is assigned to a Macro, it can be used as “pause point”, or “key marker”. It can also be used to remove the operator. When key is assigned to Macro, it can be used to control parameters of the operator, “to remove the operator” or “to pause”. If the key is used in any other way, it is removed from the macros. If the user sets a key to “play”, all macro modes can be “played”.
For example, if the user selects the first operator in a macro, that macro will play whatever is assigned to the first key of that operator. When a user presses the first key, the operator will play. If the user presses the first key again, the user has removed the first key, the operator

Phase Distortion – Each operator is capable of emulating the sound of some classic machines, such as the Casio CZ200, Casio CZ3, Roland RD-700, and others. In addition, you can emulate the sound of any phase distortion hardware, such as the Roland PD-1 or PD-3000.
Multi-mode Wave Shaper – Using different waveforms, Digital allows you to emulate the sound of FM synthesizers such as the Roland SH-2000 or Roland SH-500. This is done using both a phase distortion and a band pass filter.
Frequency Modulation – Digital is able to emulate the sound of the Roland SH-1000. Using a combination of FM wave shaping and a single band pass filter, Digital can emulate the sound of both the SH-2000 and the SH-1000.
Filter – This operator includes 19 waveforms, 6 effects, a comb filter and 12 self-feedback.
Modulation – Digital has all the classic synth effects, with 20 envelopes, 4 step sequences, 2 XY pad LFO’s and 4 key splits.
