AutoCAD has been sold and supported in some form since 1982, when its predecessor 2D Drafting was first released by Microfield. In October 1990, at the first CAD Society annual meeting in Frankfurt, Germany, a prototype of the first Autocad 2000 (known as the “AutoCAD 2000 Prototype” at the time) debuted. The AutoCAD 2000 was publicly demonstrated in 1993 at the SIGGRAPH show in Los Angeles, California. It was officially released the following year in May 1994. At the time of its release, it was the most powerful commercial CAD program available. The AutoCAD 2000 also marked the introduction of Ethernet as a communication network for CAD programs, rather than serial lines such as the RS-232, which were often the only means available at the time.

AutoCAD was initially sold as a stand-alone app, later bundled with AutoCAD LT, which was sold as a minimum-cost entry point CAD program. The earliest AutoCAD LT was built for the Apple Macintosh platform and released in 1994. It was the first version available on the Macintosh. It was also the first version of AutoCAD to be sold in the UK and Germany as AutoCAD 2000 and be available for PCs.

AutoCAD LT was re-released in 2002, replacing the earlier version of AutoCAD LT. It was the first version to have AutoLISP programming language added.

The program was used in designing the Kite Copter, built by the University of Toronto and the University of Texas at Arlington and based on a commercially available Kite Flyer, an aircraft that was built using an open source design. All the Herbs for a Hearty Salsa

There’s nothing like coming home from a day at work and opening the fridge. I love it, I really do. I really dig the food smell. Especially when it’s not just the leftover pizza or Chinese leftovers. I enjoy those too, they are a nice break from the mundane. I love when the refrigerator is full of wonderful smells. I don’t know what kind of herbs are on the vine in the garden around here, but I hope that my hands and my tongue get to enjoy their many different pleasures.

I found this salsa recipe for grilled peppers and onions on a couple of sites. I’ve always enjoyed it, but with summer around the corner, I thought I’d tweak it a bit and bring it indoors.

I adjusted the spices slightly and added a few leaves of parsley for color and flavor. I love to eat salsa with tortilla chips, but I also love it on bread, or with a grilled burger, or on top of a baked potato. It’s even good on a sandwich. Add some veggies, or cheese, or avocado, but whatever you do, just keep it in mind that you want to put it on something. It won’t last long without that.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the coriander, cilantro, parsley, lime zest and juice, garlic, onion and jalapeño pepper. Whisk the lime juice and olive oil in a small bowl and pour over the herbs. Add the cumin and oregano, and mix well. Taste, and add salt and pepper as needed
