About this Game
Our crowdfunding drive met its Kickstarter funding goal in just four days – you helped make this possible! We’ve successfully raised funds for most of our projected development budget of $250,000, with more stretch goal after stretch goal added as the game gets closer to completion.
Legends of Astravia is an RPG tactical RPG set in the lands of Astravia. Players will take control of multiple characters as they cooperate and battle their way through an interconnected game world. Players will be able to explore, fight, and make new friends. In this game, players will meet over 400 unique character types who live in 7 unique land types. Players will be able to create their own scenario, battle style, and choose from an ever-evolving story as they run around Astravia, meeting the world’s varied inhabitants and completing quests along the way.
The following features distinguish Legends of Astravia from other games:
1. Play as Multiple Characters
In each scenario, the players will start out with four characters: A Hero, and three NPCs. If they survive the scenario, they will play as one of these four characters again, until the player can no longer create a character of the same name.
2. Map-based, Turn-based Combat
You’ve seen or played all of the turn-based, map-based combat games before, and Legends of Astravia will break the mold. Players will be able to play multiple character types, move by turn, and attack all at once, making it easy to get into the game.
3. Immerse Yourself in a Multifaceted Story
You don’t just play a character to battle the enemies in a scenario. Each character has their own motivations, abilities, and story. Rather than being defined by the combat, each character’s story will completely change how they play. This can be a great way to get to know a new character or two.
4. Play on a Living, 3D World
The world of Astravia is alive. NPCs will engage you as you explore. Buildings will crumble and burn. Villagers will fall in battle and rise again.
