File Structure

CSS rotating div only in IE with gradients

I have a rotating background div in CSS, that works in all browsers except IE.

It works in all other browsers, but IE9 and IE10 with black backgrounds don’t show the gradient and just turn the background to a solid black in both. It’s some kind of problem with background-position or background-repeat or background-color.
I’ve also tried switching to CSS3 background positioning and background-origin: -moz-radial-gradient, -webkit-radial-gradient, radial-gradient: but it didn’t work either.
Any idea how to fix this?

As Ignacio pointed out, IE 8 and earlier does not support radially-gradient background images or sets.
The solution is to give up the gradient and apply the following background image instead:
background: url(images/gradient.png) 50% 50% no-repeat;

You can of course add a colour behind this image if you like.

“Managers must balance numerous goals in their efforts to conserve wildlife, including protection from predators,” said Burgess. “As a result, there is a limited understanding of what is effective in reducing wildlife depredation, and there are still many questions about the best ways to protect wildlife. For example, what combinations of predator control and habitat modification techniques do best?”

The partners will identify a best-practices model for wildlife health planning, sharing valuable resources and exploring issues critical for long-term success. Project Phoenix will address:

Predator-to-predator dynamics that promote healthy human-wildlife interactions

Ecosystem services provided by large carnivore populations

Best ways to reduce or manage changes in human-wildlife contact

How to better conserve and enhance large carnivore populations

The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) is the host agency and the contact for Project Phoenix. This group is composed of full-time and seasonal employees from the ODFW, Regional Office, Wildlife Science Division and Conservation Department.
